As our friends who have attended our Italian cooking classes well know, Simonetta, my sister and I are enthusiastic about our food tradition .We always try to make dishes that everyone will want to repeat at home and not forget Italy.What I propose today is a very easy dish to prepare but in the end very tasty. Some of you saw it on our Instagram and asked for the recipe.

I want to remind you that Italian peperoni are bell peppers and capsicum, not meat.
6 sweet peppers
¼l extra virgin olive oil
40g capers
6/9 spoons Breadcrumbs
Remove the top part of the peppers.
Remove the seeds, slice them along, 2 cm./o.7 inch wide
Wash and dry the peppers.
Grease a pyrex dish with the oil and place a first layer of sliced peppers in it.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs and capers on top. All salt and pepper
Proceed with an other layer of peppers, breadcrumbs ,capers and olive oil
Place them in the oven for 30 minutes at 180°C./350 °F
Totally vegetarian or served with some chicken:
