
Sea bream is a typical Mediterranean fish cooked with cherry tomatoes is a dish characterized by simplicity and a delicate taste. Really easy to prepare, and great for a quick dinner or a light lunch. Everyone knows that fish needs to be cooked very little to keep its nutritional properties and flavor intact.
The health benefits of sea bream are many. This fish is a highly digestible food. Furthermore, it strengthens the immune defenses thanks to vitamin B6; helps fight atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases thanks to omega 3; fights anemia, and facilitates the absorption of iron thanks to vitamin B2. Finally, phosphorus, present in good quantities in sea bream, acts in synergy with calcium and vitamin D in order to preserve proper bone mineralization.

Ingredients
2 fillets of sea bream
Small tomatoes 1 and 1/2 cup
Garlic 1 clove
oregano to taste
Palermo pepper 1
Salt to taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 tbsp.
Turmeric 1 tbsp.
Clean the tomatoes, cut them in 2, and toss them in a bowl with extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt. Let them for 5 minutes, mixing them every now and then
Clean and cut the Palermo pepper into slices.
In a saucer, mix 1 tablespoon of turmeric, a little salt, and pepper.
In the meantime, pass the fillets under running water, and dab them with a sheet of absorbent paper.
Pour 2 tbsp oil into a non-stick pan, cook a clove of garlic in it for a couple of minutes and remove it.
Add the fillets and brown them on all sides for 1 minute.
Add the cherry tomatoes with the dressing and the pepper. Stir gently, cover, and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
Remove the lid, add the fresh oregano and cook for another 2 minutes
Sea bream with cherry tomatoes is ready!

Advice
If you use frozen sea bream fillets, be careful to use them only when they are completely defrosted, in this way you will prevent them from releasing water during cooking, ruining your dish!
For this type of recipe, we recommend using Piccadilly or cherry tomatoes.
You can add green or black olives, depending on your taste.
Storage

You can keep the sea bream with cherry tomatoes for a day, in the fridge, closed in an airtight container, although we recommend that you enjoy it as soon as it is cooked so as not to lose its taste.
