Republic Day, in Italy Festa della Repubblica , is a national holiday in Italy on June 2 each year. It celebrates the day when Italians voted to abolish the monarchy in 1946 so our country could become a republic.

La Costituzione Italiana inizia con = Italian Constitution starts with

Art.1 L’Italia è una Repubblica democratica fondata sul lavoro=

Italy is a democratic Republic founded on labour

And today these words are more alive for many of us as we could start to work again even with some limitations:we started with Cooking classes for max. 4 person (or 6 people travelling together) to respect social distances and following Italian Government rules.

The right to work is recognised ,with labour considered the foundation of the Republic and a mean to achieve individual and social development.

Buona Festa della Repubblica
