We moved to Florence years ago and then we started visiting Toscana /Tuscany and then also living in Chianti, in the country. We have enjoyed all Tuscany so much, from the leaning tower fo Pisa

Pisa

, the port of Livorno/Leghorn, the Lucca city walls.

Toscana  is in the center of Italy  with 10 main towns and many other smaller  which are worthwhile to be visited for different architecture, different food, different character even if the distance form one two the other can be just an hour .

Firenze/Florence

Arezzo ,Firenze, Grosseto ,Livorno, Lucca , Massa Carrara, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato, Siena:I’m naming all of them and sincerely each one has something different to offer even if the inhabitants are not so many ,from the 998.431 of Florence to the 189.836 of Massa-Carrara.

In Tuscany there are 7 places declared World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. They are the historical centers of Florence, Siena,

Siena

Pienza and San Gimignano

San Gimignano

, the Piazza del Duomo of Pisa, the territory of the Val d’Orcia and the Medici Villas.
