Ingredients

Catalonia 1 tuft

Garlic 1 clove

Fresh or  Dried Chili Pepper1

E.V.O.O.4 tbsp

Fine Salt to taste

Pitted Black Olives

25 olives(really as many as you like)

Pan-fried Catalonia is a tasty and original side dish prepared with this variety of chicory, olives, garlic and chilli pepper. Tasty and with a slightly spicy aftertaste, it is perfect to accompany egg or meat-based dishes, or a platter of cured meats and mature cheeses together with a few slices of toasted bread.

If you want to cook it for an easy ,last minute vegetable dish.

1.Eliminate the hard end part of the catalonia stem

2.Cut the vegetables into pieces of approximately 7 cm (2 inches),

3.Rinse thoroughly in water

4.Blank the catalonia in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes, until the stems are soft.

5.Drain the vegetables

6.Pour a drizzle of oil into a pan with a clove of garlic, chilli pepper and black olives,

7.Cook it for 10 minutes in a pan and it will cook for a fragrant and delicious result.
